图一、疝气示意图
★疝，俗名“疝气”或“小肠气”，即人体组织或器官一部分离开了原来的部位,通过人体间隙、缺损或薄弱部位进入另一部位。疝多是因为咳嗽、喷嚏、用力过度、腹部过肥、用力排便、妇女妊娠、小儿过度啼哭、老年腹壁强度退行性变等原因引起。
下腹部腹股沟区有包块突出。在咳嗽、便秘、搬重物或长期站立时，症状会更加明显，同时，您还会感觉到局部的疼痛和不舒服，鼓出来的肿块有时可以直接用手推回去，也可以在平卧时暂时消失。但站立时又出现，并逐渐加重。
疝气可以越来越大，严重影响生活质量，甚至可能因此肠管不能回纳，而发生肠坏死而影响生命。

腹股沟疝：最常见，小儿及成人均有，鼓包突出于双侧腹股沟区。
脐疝：鼓包突出于脐及周围。
切口疝、白线疝：鼓包突出于手术切口或腹部中线。
★疝气有哪些症状图三、“嵌顿疝发作”
★一般症状：站立时突出，仰卧后消失，按压即可回入腹腔。但嵌顿疝、绞窄疝则有疼痛感且很难推回腹腔。疝若任其发展极易发生粘连和嵌顿，嵌顿的时候有可能发展到绞窄疝，进一步加重病情，因此如发现疝气，应及早接受科学、规范治疗。
★得了疝气怎么办★疝气不会自然消失，只会越来越大，疝气只要一经确诊，手术修补是唯一有效的方法。这是一种只需要30分钟左右的手术，医生会将一种人工合成的网片材料植入您的体内帮助加强您腹壁薄弱的区域，从而消除疝内容物突出。

医院疝和腹壁外科——顺德地区率先挂牌成立的疝专科病房，开展各种疝专科手术，对疝疾病进行系统化、规范化、个性化治疗。
开展腹腔镜下完全腹膜外补片植入术（TEP）、经腹腔腹膜前补片植入术（TAPP）、腹腔镜小儿腹股沟疝疝囊高位结扎术、腹腔镜下腹腔内补片植入术（IPOM）等，并成功开展复杂性、难治性切口疝，食管裂孔疝，造口旁疝等各特殊类型疝气手术。
科室已开展各种疝手术0余例，绝大部分采用疝的腹腔镜微创手术，具有创伤小，修补彻底，复发率低，美容效果好的特点。
